“Working with Maria for our major bathroom remodel was a pleasure. She is very personable and she listens. We enjoyed our time of discussion, sketching and working out the final design features. She was readily available and visited our jobsite often.
She went with us to visit several wholesalers to pick out cabinet style, wood finishes, fixtures, stone and quartz. Overall, the project was a great success. We will certainly choose Maria for our next project.”

“This review is long overdue. Maria is not only a talented architect but also an experienced renovator and expert listener. She worked on our project remotely and did a great job liaising with our contractor and his subs. Her drawings not only captured the detail of what we'd discussed together, but also established clear plans for the builders, minimizing miscommunications and any jobsite games of telephone. Those plans definitely saved us real money in the long run, which matters out here in the Bay Area.
Having gone through renovations in her own home, Maria was able to share great insight and flag specific questions I should ask and decisions I should think through in advance. I felt very prepared with her, even though our addition was my first project. She was also clear about her own timing and expectations from the start, and I never once felt forgotten or like we were less of a priority than her other clients.
Anytime a new guest enters our home, they look up and around the rooms and compliment our space, and now that we've lived in it for a while, I have no regrets or wish I would had done any thing differently.
Maria also has an intentional way of listening - she puts real thought into her suggestions and solutions but never pushes her own agenda or preferences. She's a designer in her own right, and I wouldn't describe her solely as an architect, as she does so much more for a project if you need her to. We also never had a single billing issue the entire time we worked together. Her professionalism and respect for our home and family are so appreciated, and I would engage her again in a second.”
